GETTYSBURG, PA – The women's outdoor track & field team traveled to Gettysburg College for day one of the Centennial Conference Championships. 

The Green Terror sits fifth after day one with nine points; Johns Hopkins leads with 45 points. 

Junior Sophie Leone placed fourth in pole vault, resetting her own program record with a jump of 3.50m. Junior Michaela Carney placed fifth with a mark of 3.35m. Sophomore Tara Hornung jumped 2.90m to place ninth. First year Allison Kapustka placed 15th with a jump of 2.75m. Senior Summer James jumped 2.60m to place 19th. Senior Allie Rolek followed in 20th with a jump of 2.30m. Sophomore Gabby DeMarco placed 21st with a mark of 2.30m. 

Senior Ameerah Johnson threw 33.01m in hammer throw to placed 16th, this moves her to fourth in program history. Senior Kate Principio placed 22nd with a mark of 26.52m. 

McDaniel will return to action Saturday, May 2nd for day two of the Centennial Conference Championships.
