WESTMINSTER, MD – The women's outdoor track & field team at home in the Green Terror Invitational.
The Green Terror placed second of six teams with a score of 181. Stevenson won the meet with 221.
Senior Kate Principio won the hammer throw in a program record mark of 36.45m. She beats the previous record of 34.62m set by Mikayla Smith in 2024. Senior Ameerah Johnson placed fourth with a mark of 29.20m. Junior Jess Pronchick threw 26.84m to place seventh, and move to sixth in program history.
Junior Michaela Carney won the pole vault with a mark of 3.35m, this moves her to second in program history. Junior Sophia Leone placed second with a mark of 3.20m. Sophomore Tara Hornung placed third with a mark of 3.05m. First year Allison Kapustka jumped 2.90m to place fourth, she moves to sixth in program history. Senior Allie Rolek jumped 2.75m to place sixth. Sophomore Gabby DeMarco jumped 2.30m to place tenth.
Pronchick won the shot put with a 10.54m throw; this moves her to ninth in program history. Johnson placed second with a throw of 9.94m. Sophomore De'Ashia Davis placed eighth with a throw of 8.14m. Junior Sophie Schwaab threw 6.76m to place tenth.
Senior Anna Kale won the 800 meters with a time of 2:33.70. Senior Piper Nagaraj followed in the second with a time of 2:33.90. Sophomore Riley Friedman ran 2:50.25 to place fifth. Senior Arianna Lowengrub placed sixth with a time of 3:02.83.
First year Isabel Meadows-Soto won the 1500 meters with a time of 5:24.54. First year Gianna Corrieri ran 5:32.25 to place third. First year Sophie Tressler ran 6:08.35 to place sixth.
Senior Anna Rando placed second in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:10.52. She also placed third in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 17.02.
DeMarco placed second in the long jump with a mark of 4.72m. Rando followed in third with a mark of 4.41m. Graduate student Taylor Pinthiere jumped 4.05m to place seventh. Senior Elyssa Greene placed eighth with a mark of 3.90m.
DeMarco placed second in the triple jump with a jump of 9.55m. Greene placed fourth jumping 9.31m.
The 4x400 meter relay of Kale, Nagaraj, Meadows-Soto, and Corrieri ran 4:46.23 to place third.
Pronchick placed fourth in discus with a time of 28.92m. Principio placed sixth with a throw of 26.79m. Johnson threw 26.43m to place seventh. Davis placed tenth with a mark of 20.53m. Schwaab threw 15.65m to place 13th.
Pronchick took fifth in javelin with a mark of 21.58m.
Pinthiere placed eighth in the 100 meters with a time of 14.94.
McDaniel will return to action at Messiah for the Messiah Invitational on Friday, April 10th.
