HERSHEY, Pa. - Senior
Ethan Crabb shot a 2-over par 73 to lead the McDaniel College men's golf team as both captured the Elizabethtown Spring Invitational individual and team titles Thursday at Hershey Country Club.
The Green Terror totaled a 307 to win the team title by 11 strokes over the Dickinson B team which totaled a 318. Salisbury and Moravian tied for third at 321.
Crabb earned low medalist honors for the first time in his career. His previous best was a second-place finish at The Northeast Elite earlier this season when he finished the 36-hole event with an even-par 142 which included a career-low, four-under par 68 in the opening round.
Crabb was one of three players to finish in the top 7 for McDaniel. First-year
Dylan Muso also posted a career-best finish, placing in a four-way tie for second with a four-over par 75.
Senior
Charlie Dolan finished in a two-way tie for seventh with a 77 while senior
Sean Kelly rounded out the team scoring in a three-way tie for 23rd with an 82.
First-year
Braden Paris placed in a two-way tie for 26th with an 83.
The Green Terror return to action next Friday, April 10 in the 54-hole Camp Lejeune Marine Intercollegiate hosted by Ogelthorpe at Paradise Point Golf Course.
