MILLERSVILLE, PA – The women's outdoor track & field team competes at Millersville for the Millersville Invitational. 

The Green Terror placed 5th of 14 teams with a score of 24 points. Millersville won the meet with 254.5 points. Junior Sophia Leone led the team in scoring with 10 points. 

Leone won pole vault with a mark of 3.25m. Junior Michaela Carney placed second with a jump of 3.10m. Sophomore Tara Hornung placed fourth with a mark of 2.95m. First year Allison Kapustka placed seventh with a mark of 2.65m. Senior Allie Rolek jumped 2.65m to place eighth. 

Senior Anna Rando placed fifth in the 200 meters with a time of 27.03. She also placed seventh in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 16.29. Rando jumped 4.55m in long jump to place seventh. 

Junior Jess Pronchick placed tenth in the hammer throw with a mark of 33.00m. This moves her to third in program history. 

Junior Maya Colavito placed eighth in the 5000 meters with a time of 19:54.65. 

Leone ran 13.02 in the 100 meters to place ninth. Carney placed 19th running 13.44. 

Pronchick placed ninth in discus with a mark of 30.48m. Sophomore De'Ashia Davis placed 23rd with a throw of 21.79m. 

Pronchick placed tenth in shot put with a mark of 10.00m. Davis placed 24th with a mark of 8.08m. Pronchick also placed tenth in javelin with a throw of 24.70m. 

Senior Piper Nagaraj placed 15th in the 1500 meters with a time of 5:33.46. Senior Anna Kale ran 5:36.44 to place 18th. First year Gianna Corrieri followed in 19th running 5:36.71. First year Sophie Tressler placed 31st with a time of 6:09.33. Senior Arianna Lowengrub ran 6:14.39 to place 32nd. 

First year Isabel Meadows-Soto placed 19th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:38.34. Sophomore Riley Friedman ran 2:55.51 to place 32nd. 

McDaniel will return to action at home for the Carpenter-Case Invitational on Friday, April 24th.
