MILLERSVILLE, PA – The men's outdoor track & field team competes at Millersville for the Millersville Invitational.
The Green Terror placed 7th of 15 teams with a score of 24 points. Elizabethtown won the meet with 115 points. Senior Ethan Bush led the team in scoring with 11 points.
Bush won the 400 meters in a time of 50.09. This mark moves him to tenth in program history. Junior Braylon Johnson placed eighth with a time of 52.16.
Junior Roman Arensmeyer ran 16.10 in the 110 meter hurdles to place fourth. He also placed seventh in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:03.14.
Senior Jack Sears placed fourth in the 1500 meters with a time of 4:11.25. Sears also placed eighth in 800 meters with a time of 2:06.13. Junior Abhishek Mudireddy placed 18th running 2:10.29.
Junior Benjamin Bouselli ran 11:24.38 in the 3000 meter steeplechase to place fifth.
The 4x400 meter relay team of Bush, first year Sam Favazza, Sears, and Mudireddy placed fourth with a time of 3:34.06.
Johnson ran 23.68 in the 200 meter to place 11th. Sophomore Robert Wood placed 16th with a time of 24.41. First year Kyan Hayes placed 21st with a time of 25.24.
Junior Jamey Travers placed 11th in discus with a mark of 35.66m. Junior Jacob Gibson threw 28.84m to place 27th. Senior AJ Iglesias placed 29th with a throw of 27.65m.
Gibson placed 13th in hammer with a mark of 34.24m. Travers placed 14th with a throw of 33.98. Iglesias threw 30.52m to place 18th.
Wood placed 16th in the 100 meter with a time of 11.80. Hayes ran 12.37 to place 25th.
Senior Luke Stimley threw 22.12m in javelin to place 20th.
Gibson placed 25th in shot put with a mark of 9.99m.
McDaniel will return to action at home for the Carpenter-Case Invitational on Friday, April 24th.
