UPPERCO, Md. - First-year
Chase Oatman finished fifth to lead the McDaniel College men's golf B team in the Stevenson Spring Invitational at Piney Branch Golf Club on Thursday.
The Green Terror finished ninth with a 323. Mount Aloysius won the team title with a 304, four strokes ahead of host Stevenson. The Dickinson B team finished third with a 311 while Goucher was fourth with a 314. Centennial Conference foe Washington College placed 12th with a 337.
Oatman carded a 5-over par 75, totaling seven pars and three birdies. He was 1-under through the first six holes after birdies on the par-5, 548-yard second hole and par-5, 562-yard sixth. It marked a new career-low for Oatman whose previous best was an 80 in the second round of the Mason-Dixon Classc on October 12.

JT Krynock placed seventh with a 7-over par 77, two strokes behind his career-low set in the Susquehanna Fall Invitational on September 18.

Sam Telljohann finished 53rd with an 84 while first-year
Max Doane placed 68th with an 87. First-year
Lyle Petersen placed 88th with a 91.
This weekend, the McDaniel A team wraps up the regular season in the 36-hole Fred Kravetz Invitational hosted by Rochester at Oak Hill Country Club.
