GRANTHAM, PA – The women's outdoor track & field team competes at Messiah for the Messiah Invitational. 

The Green Terror placed 21st of 25 teams with a score of eight, Mount St. Mary's won the meet with 97. 

Junior Sophia Leone placed fourth in the pole vault with a mark of 3.40m. Junior Michaela Carney placed ninth with a mark of 3.25m. Sophomore Tara Hornung placed 14th with a mark of 2.95m. Senior Allie Rolek jumped 2.65m to place 25th. 

Senior Anna Rando ran 1:01.00 to place eighth in the 400 meters. Rando also ran 16.59 in the 100 meter hurdles to place 13th. 

Junior Maya Colavito placed tenth in the 5000 meters with a time of 20:03.59. 

Rando placed 12th in the long jump with a mark of 5.03m. Sophomore Gabby DeMarco jumped 4.99m to place 15th. Senior Elyssa Greene placed 32nd with a mark of 4.21m. 

DeMarco placed 12th in the triple jump with a mark of 9.85m. Greene jumped 9.40m to place 17th. 

Junior Jess Pronchick placed 12th in shot put with a mark of 10.22m. Senior Ameerah Johnson placed 38th with a mark of 8.74m. Sophomore De'Ashia Davis placed 40th with a mark of 8.46m. 

The 4x800 meter relay of senior Anna Kale, first year Gianna Corrieri, first year Sophie Tressler, and senior Arianna Lowengrub placed eighth with a time of 11:37.93. 

Senior Piper Nagaraj placed 24th in the 800 meter with a time of 2:32.18. Corrieri ran 2:38.20 to place 37th. Kale ran 2:44.92 to place 48th. Lowengrub placed 55th running 2:58.82. 

Pronchick placed 26th in discus with a mark of 27.11m. Davis placed 48th with a mark of 19.37m. 

Pronchick placed 28th in javelin with a mark of 23.38m. 

Senior Kate Principio placed 42nd in hammer with a mark of 27.36m. Johnson threw 24.90m to place 46th. Pronchick threw 24.17m to place 49th. 

Tressler ran 6:03.50 in the 1500 meters to place 48th. 

Graduate student Taylor Pinthiere ran 14.52 in the 100 meters to place 50th. 

McDaniel will return to action at Millersville for the Millersville Invitational on Saturday, April 18.
