WESTMINSTER, Md. - The McDaniel College men's lacrosse team honored its 11 seniors in a pregame ceremony Saturday night inside Gill Stadium, but fell to Greensboro in a back-and-forth contest, 10-8.

The Green Terror (4-3) suffered their first loss in the last three games and the first in the first-ever meeting against the Pride.

Junior Aidan Skelly and first-year Alex Salerni each scored two goals while junior Reagan Wilson totaled three points with one goal and two assists. Junior Cash Stanton had one goal and one assist.

Skelly and senior Ryan Smith struck first to give the Green Terror a 2-0 lead before Greensboro responded with the next four goals to take a 4-2 lead with 13:27 remaining in the second.

Wilson, Skelly, and first-year Colin Fox scored to put McDaniel back in front, 5-4 with 5:54 left, before Justin Barry scored his third goal to tie the game at 5-5 at halftime.

Keyed by Barry's goal, the Pride (6-1) scored the first three goals of the third quarter to take the largest lead of the night, 8-5 with 8:50 to play in the third and the two teams traded goals the rest of the way, scoring two each in the fourth.
