WESTMINSTER, Md. - Led by two wins from senior Sabina Alvarez Prats and first-year Morgan Linton, the McDaniel College women's wrestling team split a tri-match with Muhlenberg and Ursinus on Saturday inside the Gill Center.

The Green Terror (6-7) finished its home schedule with a record of 3-3 this season as they opened with a 40-10 victory over Muhlenberg before falling to Ursinus, 29-19.

The first graduating senior in the history of the women's wrestling program, Prats earned two victories and now has four in nine matches this season.

Meanwhile, Linton recorded one fall and one tech fall to improve her record to 15-7 this season. She is second on the team in wins and leads the team with 10 falls. She has totaled 14 bonus-point wins, including four tech falls.

First-year Ariana Carnahan leads the team with 17 wins and picked up two more on Saturday with a tech fall over Muhlenberg's Valerie Sanchez, 12-2. Carnahan is 17-8 this season with two falls and eight tech falls.

McDaniel won eight of the 10 matches against the Mules (3-7) to post its second-most points and second-largest win in program history. The team defeated Maine Maritime 44-5 last Saturday, January 24

First years Alize Franze and Alex Adams also recorded falls against Muhlenberg.

Against Ursinus (9-3), the Green Terror led 10-5 after the first three matches before the Bears scored 24 consecutive points, winning the next five matches, including four by fall and one by tech fall, to take a 29-10 lead.

Linton recorded a first period tech fall to stop the run before first-year Kayla Carter received a forfeit to provide the final margin.

McDaniel returns to action in just over 24 hours when it heads to Delaware State for a tri-match with the Hornets and Wilkes beginning at 1 p.m.
