rBBOTTSTOWN, Pa. - Senior Callie Nelson carded a career-best 92 and was the top finisher for the McDaniel College women's golf team in the McDaniel Fall Invitational Sunday at The Bridges Golf Club.

The Green Terror finished fifth with a 408. Stevenson won the team title with a 345, one stroke ahead of Gettysburg. Franklin & Marshall was third, followed by Dickinson in fourth.

Stevenson's Sydni Sundstrom took home low medalist honors with an 81, two strokes ahead of Gettysburg's Lucy Barton.

Nelson beat her previous career best set at the Franklin & Marshall Fall Invitational on Sept. 22, 2024 by six strokes. She finished 14th, totaling six pars, shaving 12 strokes off her front nine score to shoot 4-over par on the back nine. She finished the final five holes at even par.

Senior Abby Wesche finished 21st, three strokes behind Nelson. Sophomore Emily Landau placed 28th while senior Dariel Gray came in 29th.

First-years Molly Weaver and Maggie Johnson made their collegiate debuts, finishing 30th and 32nd, respectively.

McDaniel returns to action on Saturday in the Pride of Maryland Fall Invitational hosted by Stevenson at the Pine Ridge Golf Course.
