WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Senior
Abby Wesche finished 14th to lead the McDaniel College women's golf team at the 2026 Centennial Conference Women's Golf Championship at Waynesboro Country Club.
The Green Terror finished in fifth place after totaling a 785 for the 36-hole tournament. The team shot a 392 in the final round, an improvement of one stroke from the opening round. Dickinson finished fourth with a 758.
Marymount (Va.) captured its fourth Centennial Conference championship with a 644, the second-best team score in the 25-year history of the event.
The Saints' Tinleigh Rusher won the individual title with a 8-over par 152, the second-lowest score in championship history.
Wesche finished 14th in her final conference championship with a season-low 185 for 36 holes. She shaved one stroke of her opening round, carding a 92 with three pars.
First-year
Molly Weaver placed 21st with a career-low 195 for 36 holes, including a career-best 97 in Sunday's final round.
Sophomore
Emily Landau totaled a career-low 199 to finish 23rd. Seniors
Callie Nelson and
Dariel Gray finished their final conference tournament back-to-back at 25th and 26th, respectively. Nelson totaled a career-best 206.
