WESTMINSTER, Md. – Two first half goals and another shutout from junior
Tate Roth propelled the McDaniel College men's soccer team to a 3-0 win over Randolph on Saturday from the Soccer Complex.
The Green Terror (5-0) have remained unbeaten through five matches for the second time in three years and have won their first five games of the season for the first time since 2022.

Kristerson Mitchell scored his first career goal in the 27
th minute off a corner attempt to give McDaniel the lead. The Wildcats countered moments later with a shot that was saved by Roth to keep the Green Terror in front.
Following a Randolph foul, McDaniel tacked on a second goal on a free kick from senior

Nicholas Clarke and scoring in the left corner to give the Green Terror its second consecutive 3-0 victory.
Roth faced seven shots in the cage and saved two, keeping Green Terror opponents scoreless through five matches. McDaniel has outscored its opponents 12-0 through the first five contests of the season, allowing only 31 shots in that span.
The Green Terror held a 15-7 advantage in shots over the Wildcats, limiting the visitors to only three shots in the second half. The game featured six yellow cards and 23 combined fouls between the two teams.
McDaniel will look to keep its unbeaten streak alive on Tuesday when local rival Goucher makes the trek to Westminster. Start time is at 4 pm from the Soccer Complex.
