COLLEGEVILLE Pa. - Junior Anna Rando advanced to the 400-meter hurdle finals to lead the McDaniel College women's track & field team at the Centennial Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Ursinus on Saturday.
The Green Terror currently sit in 10 place with 10 points. Johns Hopkins leads after two days with 148.5 points.
Rando placed seventh in the 400H prelims, advancing to finals with a time of 1:11.30. She also placed ninth in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 16.50 seconds.
The 4x800-meter relay team of junior Piper Nagaraj, junior Anna Kale, junior Abby Warner, and sophomore Maya Colavito placed ninth with a time of 10:57.62.
Freshman Gabby DeMarco placed 11th in the long jump with a mark of 4.88m (16' 0.25") and Rando placed 16th with a mark of 4.67m (15' 4").
Freshman Tara Hornung finished 12th in the high jump with a mark of 1.35m (4' 5").
Colavito placed 18th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 13:15.09 while junior Kate Principio placed 19th in the discus with a mark of 22.43m (73' 7").
Freshman Jazmeen Yelverton placed 27th in the 100 meters with a time of 14.21 seconds.
The final day of competition at the conference meet gets underway at 10 a.m. on Sunday.
