Abby Wesche finished ninth at the 2025 Centennial Conference Women's Golf Championship hosted by Waynesboro Country Club to lead the McDaniel College women's golf team to a fourth-place finish.
The Green Terror finished the 36-hole tournament with a 793, including a 391 in Sunday's final round, the team's lowest round at the conference championships since 2018 when it totaled a 347 in the second round.
Gettysburg claimed its 12th conference championship and first since 2023 with a 668. The Bullets' Lucy Barton won the individual title with a 161 to edge her twin sister Chloe Barton by two shots.
Wesche had a two-day total of 188 to place 13th. She shot a 91 on Sunday, her best score in four career rounds at the conference championship. She had two pars and a birdie on the par-4, 328-yard 11th hole.
In her fourth and final conference championship appearance, senior
Vaishali Bhatt posted her best career finish with a 14th-place showing. She carded a 96 for the second day in-a-row, her best round in the conference championship.
Freshman
Emily Landau concluded her first conference championship in 17th with a 203 after carding a 102 in Sunday's final round.
Junior
Dariel Gray posted a new personal best at the conference championship for the second-straight day with a 103. She finished 21st with a 210.
Junior
Callie Nelson finished her third conference championship in 27th place with a 230 which included a 119 in the second round.
