WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Junior
Charlie Dolan finished second at the 2025 Centennial Conference Men's Golf Championship hosted by Waynesboro Country Club to lead the McDaniel College men's golf team to a third place finish.
The Green Terror finished the 54-hole tournament with an 896, just four strokes shy of Franklin & Marshall. Gettysburg claimed its fifth championship and first since 2019 with a three-day total of 884.
Gettysburg's Patrick Kilcoyne won his first individual title with a four-under par 212, the lowest individual 54-hole total in CC championship history, just two strokes ahead of Dolan whose two-under par 214 is tied for the lowest non-winning score in CC championship history.
Dolan posted the second-lowest score in Sunday's third round with a 70. He finished the day with five birdies, including one on each of the first three holes, 10 pars and three bogeys.
As a result of his runner-up finish, Dolan earned his first All-Centennial Conference selection. He is the 30th different player to earn all-conference accolades for McDaniel and the fifth to earn runner-up honors. The team has had 10 individual conference champions.
Dolan was one of two Green Terror to finish in the top 10. Junior
Sean Kelly finished seventh with a 225. He finished his final round with a 79 after carding a 73 in each of the first two.
Senior
Matt Messenger finished his final conference championship with a season-low, one-over par 73 to place 11th with a 227, just missing his second career top-10 finish by two strokes. He totaled four birdies, 10 pars and three bogeys.
Junior
Ethan Crabb turned in an 80 on Sunday to total a three-day 234 and place 20th. Senior
Hogan Schulze placed 22nd with a 235, finishing his fourth consecutive conference championship with a six-over par 78. After carding an eight-over par 44 on the front nine, he finished the final nine holes with a two-under par 34 with three birdies, five pars, and one bogey.
