SHIPPENSBURG Pa. - Sophomore Sophia Leone reset her own pole vault record for the third-straight competition as the McDaniel College women's track & field team competed at the Shippensburg Midweek PR Bonanza on Wednesday.

Leone placed fifth, jumping 3.25m (10' 8") while freshman Tara Hornung placed 12th with a jump of 2.95m (9' 8").

Junior Anna Rando placed third in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:12.05. She also placed ninth in the 200 meters with a time of 28.02 seconds.

Freshman Nakayla Ross ran a time of 28.74 seconds in the 200 to place 15th while sophomore Krista DiPalma placed 18th.

DiPalma also placed 15th in the 100 meters with a time of 14.66 seconds.

Junior Anna Kale placed eighth in the 1,500 meters with a time of 5:27.42 and junior Abby Warner placed 16th with a time of 6:21.44.

Kale also placed 14th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:40.81 and Warner placed 19th with a time of 3:05.85.

Junior Kate Principio placed 20th in the discus with a throw of 23.03m (75' 7"). She also placed 24th in hammer with a throw of 27.63m (90' 8") and 24th in the shot with a throw of 7.63m (25' 0.5"). Freshman Maddi Alexander placed 25th with a throw of 5.92m (19' 5.25").

The Green Terror return to action at the Hopkins/Loyola Invitational on Saturday.
