Hogan Schulze and junior
Charlie Dolan each totaled top 10 finishes to lead the McDaniel College men's golf team to a fourth-place finish at the Fred Kravetz Invitational.
The Green Terror finished fourth out of six teams with a two-day 596, one stroke behind 26th-ranked Rochester. No. 2 Methodist won the event with a 571, 10 strokes ahead of No. 11 Carnegie Mellon.
McDaniel totaled a 293 in Saturday's second round.
Schulze and Dolan finished in a six-way tie for eighth as both totaled a 36-hole 147. They both finished with a three-over par 75 on Friday at Irondequoit CC and a two-over par 72 Saturday at Oak Hill CC.
Schulze had four birdies and eight pars in the first round followed by three birdies and 10 pars in the second. Dolan had three birdies and 10 pars on Friday and three birdies and 10 pars on Saturday.
Junior
Ethan Crabb finished 18th with a 150. He totaled five birdies and 15 pars over the 36-hole tournament, including four birdies in his opening round.
Senior
Matt Messenger came in 23rd with a 152 while junior
Sean Kelly was 26th with a 154. Senior
Dell Grieser finished 36th with a 163.
The B team closes out the regular season at the Stevenson Spring Invitational on Monday before the 2025 Centennial Conference Men's Golf Championships begin on Friday, April 25 at Waynesboro Country Club.
