WESTMINSTER, Md. - Shenandoah scored the game's final four goals en route to an 11-7 win over the McDaniel College men's lacrosse team Thursday night inside Gill Stadium.
The Green Terror (1-4) were led by sophomore
Carter Youtz who netted his first hat-trick of the season and the sixth of his career.
The Hornets led 7-5 with seven minutes remaining in the third quarter before back-to-back goals by Youtz and senior
Jason Fritz tied the game for the third time.
However, 48 seconds later, Dillon Bakhsh completed his hat-trick, scoring what proved to be the game-winning goal to jump start a four-goal run for the visitors.
Bakhsh added both fourth-quarter tallies to finish the game with five goals on 10 shots.
Shenandoah (3-3) held a 38-28 advantage in shots and won 14-of-21 face-offs, including 9-of-12 in the second half. Mark Isabelle also made 14 saves, including six in the second half.

Will Beacham had two assists. Junior
Finn Forcucci totaled six ground balls and three caused turnovers while sophomore
Zach Olvey had seven saves.
McDaniel begins a four-game road trip on Saturday when it heads to Pittsburgh to take on Chatham. Face-off is at 1 p.m.
