Jonas Sujeta both received All-Centennial Conference Honorable Mention honors on Tuesday.
It is the second career honor for Contee and the first for Sujeta. It is the first time two Green Terror have been honored in the same season since Josh McWilliams and Kevin Yrizarry both earned honorable mention honors in 2017.
Contee, a second team selection a year ago, is averaging a career-high 14.2 points along with 4.2 rebounds and a team-high 2.3 assists. He ranks ninth in the Centennial Conference in scoring and on Feb. 1, became the 19th player in program history to score 1,000 career points. He is currently ranked 13th with 1,078 points.
Contee has scored 20 or more points in a game six times this season, including a season-high 26 points versus St. Mary's (Md.) on Nov. 15. He also averaged 13.2 points in 13 conference contests this season.
Sujeta leads the team in scoring and ranks eighth in the conference at 14.6 points per game. He also leads the team and ranks fourth in the conference with 53 three-pointers while shooting 47.7 percent from behind the arc. He is shooting 53.3 percent from the floor.
Sujeta has scored 20 or more points in a game seven times this season, including a season-high 26 points versus Regent on Dec. 7 when he also grabbed a career-high 17 rebounds. A year ago, he was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team.
McDaniel will make its first postseason appearance since 2015 when it hosts Pitt-Greensburg on Saturday, March 8 at 3:30 p.m. in the quarterfinals of the 2025 ECAC Division III Men's Basketball Championship.
