WESTMINSTER, Md. – Junior
Bruce Black scored a career-high 27 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and dished five assists to lead the McDaniel College men's basketball team to a 91-69 win over Penn State Berks Tuesday night at the Gill Center.
Black bested his previous career-high of 22 points set on Jan. 25 while playing for Rosemont. His 10 rebounds tied a career-high set during his first season with the Ravens in 2023.
The Green Terror (3-1) fought back from an early 8-4 deficit, taking their first lead on a three-pointer from junior

Ashen Stuart tied the contest at 37-37 with 3:28 left and a layup from senior
Matt Kearney gave the Green Terror the lead. Black ended the first half scoring with a three at the 2:20 mark to give McDaniel a 42-39 advantage at the break.
The Green Terror started the second half with a 7-0 run, capped off by a Stuart three with just under 18 minutes to play. McDaniel would grow the lead to 14 with 13:26 remaining following a layup from senior

Anthony Hall at the 1:28 mark gave McDaniel its largest lead of the night at 23, as the Green Terror controlled the second half to cement the win.
Black led the scoring effort with 27 points on 8-of-11 shooting, including a perfect 3-for-3 from three-point range. Kearney chipped in a season-best 22 points on 9-of-14 shooting while Stuart also finished with a career-best total of 19 points. Shaffer complied eight points, seven boards and four assists in the victory.
McDaniel controlled the second half, outscoring the Nittany Lions 49-30 over the game's final 20 minutes, the team's highest point total in a half this season. The Green Terror connected on 12 three-pointers and hit nearly 57 percent of their shots from the floor. McDaniel held a 41-19 edge in rebounding and totaled a season-best 20 assists.
The Green Terror return to the Gill Center on Saturday to face Delaware Valley. Tip-off is scheduled for 3 pm.
