HAVERFORD, Pa. - Haverford totaled 17 shots and scored the game's lone goal in the 53rd minute en route to a 1-0 win over the McDaniel College men's soccer team Saturday afternoon at Walton Field.
Despite the loss, the Green Terror (7-4-3, 1-2-3 CC) remain one point out of the final spot in the 2025 Centennial Conference Men's Soccer Championship with three conference games remaining, including two at home.
The Fords (9-0-7, 2-0-4 CC), who are ranked fifth in the United Soccer Coaches Region V rankings, totaled 11 of their 17 shots in the second half while limiting McDaniel to just two. Their breakthrough goal came on their second shot of the second half, just under eight minutes in, as Aiden Lee scored off an assist from Charles Sharp on the first of just two shots on goal.

Conor Najera registered McDaniel's lone shot on goal in the 11th minute a header in the box that was saved by Grayson Benson.
Four different players had one shot each for the Green Terror who were playing without one of its top defenders in sophomore
Trevor Grodsky who ranks second on the team in minutes played by a field player this season.
McDaniel hosts Gettysburg, who currently sits in fourth place in the Centennial Conference standings and sixth in Region V, on Wednesday. Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m.
