IJAMSVILLE, Md. - The McDaniel College men's golf team had three top 10-finishers to place second out of seven teams at the Hood Fall Invitational Tuesday at P.B. Dye Golf Club.

The Green Terror collectively scored 311, just three strokes behind host Hood.

Freshman Sam Telljohann shot a 74 to take third place in the individual rankings after Hood's Will Kujawa and Kole Kohut. Kujawa finished two under par with a score of 70 and Kohut shot a 73.

Freshman AJ Turman finished second out of six McDaniel golfers with a 77, taking sixth place. Another freshman, Braden Paris, finished a single stroke behind Turman, totaling a score of 78 and five over par.

Freshman Jack Manfre and Chase Oatman rounded out the scoring with an 82 and 87, respectively. 

The men's golf team returns to action on Sept. 15 when they travel to Bucknell Golf Club to participate in The Gauntlet hosted by Drew University.
