ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. - Junior Abby Wesche shot a 94 to lead the McDaniel College women's golf team to a ninth place finish in the Gettysburg Fall Invitational Sunday at Hanover Country Club.

The Green Terror totaled a 396 and finished third among three Centennial Conference teams. Catholic won the team title while the Cardinals' Lauren Wright shared the individual title with Kutztown's Brooke Graham.

Wesche was the team's top finisher for the fourth time this season, totaling five pars and a 47 on both the front and back nine.

Freshman Francesca Cadori carded five pars and matched Wesche with a 47 on the back nine en route to a 97.

Senior Vaishali Bhatt turned in a 99, junior Callie Nelson shot a 106 and freshman Emily Landau finished right behind with a 107.

McDaniel returns to action on Monday in the Stevenson Fall Invitational at nearby Piney Branch Golf Club. Action gets underway at 10 a.m.
