WINCHESTER, Va. - The McDaniel College men's cross country team placed four runners in the top 10 at the Hornet Harrier Invitational hosted by Shenandoah University at Kernstown Battlefield Saturday.
The Green Terror placed second with 33 points. Washington & Lee came in first with 23 points while the Generals' Jackson Kodenski won the six-kilometer race.
Junior Jack Sears came in second place for McDaniel with a time of 20:46.1 while junior Sebby Breton placed sixth in 21:24.6.
Graduate student Nick Raumann ran 21:41.3 to place eighth while classmate graduate student Tyler Richardson placed 10th with a time of 22:06.9.
Junior Jack Reiser rounded out the scorers with a 13th-place finish in 22:51.9. Senior Sean Irwin ran 24:29.1 to place 17th while senior Joc Baldacci followed in 18th in 24:30.4.
Junior Ethan Bush placed 21st, sophomore Zac Kane came in 24th and freshman Zack Davis crossed the line in 29th. Junior Simon Greenberg followed in 30th.
The Green Terror return to action on Saturday, October 19 for the Aubrey Shenk Invitational hosted by Gettysburg.
