LANCASTER, Pa. - The McDaniel College women's golf team placed second in the Franklin & Marshall Fall Invitational at the Overlook Golf Course. Junior Abby Wesche led the team with a forth place finish. 

The Green Terror collectively scored 383 second. Franklin & Marshall won the Invitational with their own Shuyi Yang winning the individual title. 

Wesche finished with a total score of 89. Senior Vaishali Bhatt placed fifth with a total of 92, only three strokes behind Wesche. 

Junior Callie Nelson placed eighth with a total of 98. Freshman Emily Landau placed tenth with a total of 104. Only two strokes behind her in 11th was Freshman Francesca Cadori. 
 
The women's golf team returns to action on Sept. 29 when they travel to the Hanover Country Club to participate in Gettysburg Fall Invitational.
