COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. - The McDaniel College men's soccer team scored a goal in each half as it opened Centennial Conference play with a 2-0 road win at Ursinus on Saturday.
The Green Terror (3-2-1) posted their second-straight win and are now 6-1-2 in their last nine meetings against the Bears. McDaniel is unbeaten in its last four at Patterson Field, having won three-straight.
Sophomore
Parks Tolton scored his team-leading second goal of the season in the 24th minute which proved to be the game-winning goal, the first of his career. Sophomore
Charlie Olson also picked up his team-leading second assist and sixth point on the play.
The Green Terror maintained its one-goal lead through halftime and into the 70th minute before sophomore
AJ Reta picked up his first goal of the season and second of his career to add some insurance.

Tate Roth earned his fourth win in five starts this season while posting his fourth shutout with three saves, including two in the second half. He faced 11 shots and lowered his goals-against average to 0.40 and improved his save percentage to 89 percent.
Both teams totaled 11 shots and combined for 13 corner kicks.
McDaniel wraps up its three-game road trip next Wednesday, Sept. 25 when it travels to Gwynedd-Mercy. Kickoff is at 4 p.m.
