WESTMINSTER, Md. - The McDaniel College women's golf team placed sixth in the McDaniel Invitational at the Bridges Golf Club. Junior Abby Wesche led the team with a 13th place finish. 

The Green Terror collectively scored 402 points to place sixth. Millersville won the Invitational with Gettysburg's Chloe Barton winning the individual title. 

Wesche finished with a total score of 90. Freshman Francesca Cadori placed 26th totaling 100. 

Junior Dariel Gray and Freshman Emily Landau tied for 28th with a total of 106. Junior Callie Nelson placed 32nd with a score of 109. 

The women's golf team returns to action on Sept. 22 when they travel to the Overlook Golf Course to participate in Franklin & Marshall Fall Invitational.
