WAYNESBORO, Pa. - The McDaniel College women's golf team had two golfers finish in the top-20 as it finished fifth in the final round of the 2024 Centennial Conference Women's Golf Championship at Waynesboro Country Club.
The Green Terror had a two-day total of 813 after a second round 410. Marymount (VA) won the team title with an 656, the the second-best team total in conference championship history. Gettysburg came in second with a 671 while Franklin & Marshall was third with a 746 and Dickinson was fourth with a 799.
Individually, Marymount's Hunter Gillis won her second title with a 155, the second-lowest 36-hole total in championship history. She is the fourth player in the Centennial Conference to win at least two individual titles.
Sophomore
Abby Wesche led McDaniel with a 15th-place finish, shooting a 187, including a 94 in Sunday's final round.
Junior
Vaishali Bratt also finished in the top-20 with a 36-hole total of 198. She moved up two spots on the leader board with a 97 in the final round.
Sophomore
Callie Nelson just missed a top-20 finish as placed 23rd. Senior
Olivia Vanreusel finished 29th while senior
Zoey Smalls came in 31st.
