WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Sophomore
Charlie Dolan placed seventh and the McDaniel College men's golf team finished fourth in the final round of the 2024 Centennial Conference Men's Golf Championship at Waynesboro Country Club.
The Green Terror had a three-day total of 911 after a third-round 304. Franklin & Marshall won the team title with an 866, the second-lowest 54-hole score in championship history. Swarthmore came in second with an 878 while Gettysburg was third with an 890.
Individually, Gettysburg's Daniel Suter and F&M's Roy Anderson finished in a tie for first with a 214. Suter won on the second playoff hole to claim the individual title. The individual playoff was the fifth in conference history and first since 2016.
Dolan finished the three-day event at three-over par with a 219. He carded a three-over par 75 in Sunday's final round.
McDaniel placed four golfers in the top-20. Junior
Dell Grieser finished 14th with a 229 while junior
Hogan Schulze was tied for 15th with a 230. Sophomore
Ethan Crabb placed 19th with a 233 which included a 75 on Sunday, his lowest round of the championship.

Matt Messenger moved up three spots on Sunday with a 78, his best round of the weekend, to finish 29th with a 245.
