Abbottstown, Pa. - McDaniel College women's golf sophomore Abby Wesche leads with an eighth place finish at the McDaniel Spring Invitational at The Bridges Golf Club. 

The Green Terror placed fourth in the six team invitational. They totaled 416, 128 over par. Franklin & Marshall won the team title with 373, outscoring St. John Fisher at 378. 

Wesche finished the weather shortened 18-hole event in a tie for eighth with Franklin & Marshall's Clarie Hill. Wesche finished 24 over par at 96 strokes. Junior Vaishali Bhatt finished in tenth, 25 over par. 

Sophomore Callie Nelson finished in 18th 36 over par 72. Senior Olivia Vanreusel finished 43 over par in 21st. Senior Zoey Smalls finished 22nd, 44 over par. Sophomore Dariel Gray finished 27th, 62 over par. 

The Women's Golf team will be back in action on April 6th for the Dickinson Spring Invite hosted by Dickinson College at the Carlisle Barracks Golf Course.
