Jason Fritz scored three goals, including two during a decisive four-goal run, as the McDaniel College men's lacrosse team posted a 5-3 victory at Alvernia Saturday.
The Green Terror (4-0) won their fourth-straight game to start the season, all on the road, matching their best start to a season in 21 years. The team won 10 consecutive to start the 2003 season.
The Wolves scored the game's first goal midway through the first quarter and led 1-0 after the first 15 minutes.
Fritz would respond with a pair of goals just 24 seconds apart to give McDaniel the lead and jump start a 4-0 run for the visitors.

AJ Johnson scored 1:36 into the second half to cap the run and put the Green Terror ahead, 4-1.
Alvernia (1-2) cut the lead in half with a goal late in the third, but led by caused turnovers from graduate student

Finn Forcucci, the McDaniel defense allowed just one goal one three shots over the next 17 minutes before Fritz sealed the win with this third goal with just 30 seconds remaining in the fourth.
The Green Terror defense limited the Wolves to just 25 shots and helped force 25 turnovers while sophomore
TJ Bunce helped control possession, winning 7-of-11 face-offs and picking up six ground balls. Graduate student
Brighton Lorber also added eight saves.
The McDaniel offense also totaled a season-high 47 shots.
In addition to three goals, Fritz totaled two ground balls and two caused turnovers.
The Green Terror make their home debut on Friday, March 8 against Juniata at Gill Stadium. Face-off is at 7 p.m.
