Nia Roberts totaled eight kills and five blocks as the McDaniel College volleyball team fell to Franklin & Marshall Wednesday inside the Gill Center, 25-10, 25-19, 25-20.
The Green Terror (10-12, 0-9 CC) wrap up their 2024 season on Saturday against Bryn Mawr.

Kaylee Comstock totaled 18 assists and seven digs, junior
Samantha Fadel also had seven digs and sophomore
Reese Beck added six.

Katherine Taveras led the team with 10 digs and now has 1,073 for her career, ranking her 11th in program history with one match remaining. Krista Eiser ranks 10th after totaling 1,099 from 2002-05.
The Diplomats (22-4, 8-1 CC), who entered the match receiving votes in the American Volleyball Coaches Association Division III Poll, jumped out to a 6-2 lead in the first set before McDaniel closed the deficit to two on four separate occasions, the last at 9-7. However, the visitors used a 4-0 run to stretch the lead to six, 13-7, before three-straight points extended it to nine, 18-9.
Following a kill by Young, F&M scored the final seven points to take a 25-10 victory.
The second set featured five ties and one lead change with the Green Terror scoring four of the first five points to take a 4-1 lead. The Diplomats chipped away and took their first lead at 9-8 on the second of three-straight McDaniel attack errors. Leading 12-10, F&M scored seven of the next eight points to surge in front by eight before posting a six-point win, 25-19.
Roberts totaled six of her eight kills in the second set while adding two blocks.
The third set was the most competitive of the match, featuring four ties and two lead changes. The Diplomats led 8-4 and 13-8 before a 7-2 run by the Green Terror tied the match at 15-15. The visitors responded with four consecutive points, scoring three off errors before McDaniel answered with four-straight points of its own to tie the match at 19-19, two of which came on F&M errors.
Leading by one, the Diplomats took a 23-19 advantage on three consecutive service aces by Emily Dean before back-to-back kills by Carly Campbell and Ceci Connolly sealed the set and the match for the visitors.
McDaniel hosts Bryn Mawr on Saturday beginning at 1 p.m. Prior to the match, the team will honor its three seniors, Taveras, Strouse and
Allyson Burgee.
