NEWVILLE, Pa. - The McDaniel College men's cross country team placed three runners in the top-50 at the 2024 Centennial Conference Cross Country Championships hosted by Dickinson at Big Spring High School Saturday.
The Green Terror placed sixth in the nine team meet, scoring 188 points. This is the best finish for the program since 2008. Johns Hopkins won with 19 points, earning their third consecutive title while the Blue Jays' Emmanuel LeBlond won his second-straight individual title.
Junior Jack Sears finished 32nd with a time of 26:54.0 which is the third-best performance on the Big Spring course in program history. Junior Sebby Breton finished 38th with a time of 27:02.0 and is the third-best performer the course in program history.
Graduate student Nick Raumann placed 49th with a time of 27:23.0, ranking him fifth all-time in program history on this course. Graduate student Tyler Richardson ran 27:54.7 to place 58th, the ninth-best all-time mark on the Big Spring course.
Freshman Amadeus Davis ran 29:33.5 to place 88th and round out the scorers while junior Ethan Bush placed 99th.
The Green Terror will be back in action next Saturday, Nov. 8 when they host the 2024 ECAC Cross Country Championships.
