CARLISLE, Pa. - McDaniel College field hockey senior
Monica Fuentes scored her first career goal, but Dickinson scored four unanswered in the second half en route to a 5-1 victory Wednesday at the Biddle Field Complex.
The Green Terror (2-9, 0-5 CC) totaled nine shots, including six goal on goal.
After the Red Devils took a 1-0 lead with just 1:02 remaining in the first quarter, Fuentes tied the game less than three minutes into the second quarter with her first goal in her 15th career game and first career start. She is the eighth different player to score a goal for McDaniel this season.
The game would head to halftime tied at 1-1 before Megan McClure scored the first of three consecutive goals for Dickinson (4-7, 1-3 CC), the first two of which came in the third quarter as the home team built a 3-1 advantage.
McClure scored again midway through the fourth before Nicole Uebele capped the scoring with less than five minutes remaining to provide the final margin.

Amy Richenderfer added two defensive saves, her second and third of the season.
The Green Terror, who are currently ranked 13th in Division III in defensive saves, have recorded at least one in their last five contests and eight out of 11 games this season, raising their season total to 12.
After finishing a three-game road trip, McDaniel will begin a three-game home stand on Friday when it hosts Neumann at Gill Stadium beginning at 5 p.m. Five of the team's final six games will be at home.
