Charley Noah scored her second goal of the season as the McDaniel College field hockey team dropped a competitive Centennial Conference contest to Gettysburg Wednesday at Gill Stadium.
The Green Terror (3-10, 0-6 CC) faced its seventh opponent in 13 games this season who is currently ranked in the top 25 of the NCAA Division III Field Hockey NPI Rankings.
Noah scored just over one minute after the Bullets took a 3-0 lead with 3:23 remaining in the fourth quarter. Playing in her first game since Sept. 27, Noah scored her first goal since a 5-1 victory over Kin's (PA) on Sept. 14. She is currently second on the team in goals and points with seven this season.
After a scoreless first quarter, Gettysburg (10-4, 3-0 CC) broke through midway through the second on a backhand goal by Sabrina Post before Bella Bonazinga scored her team-leading 13th goal of the season off a penalty corner with three minutes remaining in the third quarter.
The Bullets, who totaled 11 shots and 11 penalty corners, added their third goal when Margaret Ann-Graves scooped up a deflected shot from Olivia Regan and guided it into the net.
Noah scored just over a minute later after stealing a pass in transition and scoring past two defenders.

Teaghen Rieder recorded four saves for the Green Terror, tallying one in each quarter.
McDaniel concludes its three-game home stand on Saturday when it hosts Muhlenberg for Senior Day beginning at 1 p.m.
