HERSHEY, Pa. - McDaniel College men's golf senior Evan Rutherford carded a two-over par 73 to lead the team at the Elizabethtown Fall Invitational on Tuesday at Hershey Country Club.

The Green Terror had five individuals participate on the East Course with the top four totaling a 309 team score which would have been good for a fourth-place finish out of 13 teams.

Rutherford totaled a 1-under par 35 on the front nine and finished just two strokes off of his career low set in the second round of the Royal Lakes Invitational on Oct. 11, 2022.

Sophomore Sean Kelly shot a four-over par 75, including a one-ver par on the front nine. His round was also two strokes off his career low set in the Stevenson Spring Invitational on April 17, 2023.

Senior Joe Graceffa carded a 79 that included a two-over par 37 on the back nine. Senior Ryan Niederpruem finished with an 82 while freshman Joey Sabol shot an 83 in his collegiate debut.

McDaniel returns to action on Sunday, Sept. 24 in the two-day Guy & Jeanne Kuhn Invitational hosted by Allegheny College at The Country Club of Meadville beginning at 9 a.m.
