MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - McDaniel College baseball junior
Tyler Yohn reached base six times and totaled three hits as the Green Terror posted a convincing 15-2 victory over Worcester State Sunday night at the Ripken Experience Myrtle Beach.
McDaniel (7-5) has won five of its last six and two of its first three on its spring break trip.
Yohn went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBIs, two walks, three runs and a stolen base. He has had at least one hit in six of his last seven games, totaling 13 hits, including four doubles with a .419 batting average.
After freshman
Ben Davis scored on a fielder's choice, Yohn gave the Green Terror a 2-0 lead on an RBI-double through the left side that scored junior
Jake Smith.
Smith pushed the lead to five with a three-run triple in the bottom of the second before Yohn scored Smith again with a one-out, RBI-single as part of an eight-run outburst.

Billy Wheatley hit a two-run double to center before junior
Santino DeFilippo followed with a two-run single to left to put the Green Terror in front 11-0.
The Lancers (2-2) got on the board in the bottom of the fourth inning, scoring one run to make it 12-1.
In the top of the seventh inning, DeFilippo connected on a ball to deep right field, scoring senior
Connor Uhrig on a sacrifice fly to make it 13-1.
The Green Terror added its final two runs on an error in the eighth to provide the final margin.
McDaniel returns to action on Tuesday in a doubleheader against Cairn. First pitch in game one is scheduled for 3 p.m.
