ROANOKE, Va. - McDaniel College wrestling freshman Thomas Monn posted another win on Saturday en route to a sixth-place finish on the second day of the NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships at the Berglund Center.

Monn finished the season with a record of 36-3, posting a record of 3-3 at the national championships. With 36 wins, he finishes in a tie for the fifth-most wins in a single season in school history, tying him with Rodney Stine, Charlie Conaway and Ryker Eckenbarger.

After becoming the first freshman in team history to secure All-America honors on Friday, Monn began his day with a 7-3 decision over eighth-ranked Charlie Stuhl of Augsburg for his 36th win of the season.
