BALTIMORE, Md. - Senior
Nick Raumann finished 11th to lead the McDaniel College men's cross country team at the ECAC Mid-Atlantic Championships hosted by Goucher College on Friday.
The Green Terror finished second out of three teams with 51 points, besting Gallaudet by 17 points. Johns Hopkins won the meet with a perfect score of 15 points.
Raumann posted a time of 28:22.4, the second fastest time in program history on the Goucher College course. Freshman
Abhishek Mudireddy followed right behind in 12th with a time of 28:57.1, the program's third-fastest time on the course.
Senior
Tyler Richardson placed 13th in 29:07.2, fifth-fastest all-time, while junior
Anders Madsen came in 14th with a time of 29:12.5 for the sixth-best time in program history on the course.
By finishing in the top-15, Raumann, Mudireddy, Richardson and Madsen all earned medalist honors.
Sophomore
Jack Reiser finished 17th with a time of 30:57.0 to place ninth on the program's all-time list for the Goucher course. Junior
Sean Irwin rounded out the competitors for McDaniel with an 18th-place finish in 31:12.2.
The Green Terror will compete in the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Region at Lock Haven University next Saturday, Nov. 11.
