CARLISLE, Pa. - Freshman Reagan Lenz led the team with a career-high eight points as the McDaniel College women's basketball team opened Centennial Conference play Tuesday with a 51-29 road loss at Dickinson.

The Green Terror (4-1, 0-1 CC) suffered their first loss in five games this season, committing a season-high 26 turnovers while being out-rebounded for the first time, 31-24.

Lenz tied her career high set in the championship game of the Rebecca Martin Memorial Tip-Off Tournament against Chatham. Junior Lil Overcash totaled six points, three rebounds and three assists.

The Red Devils (2-1, 1-0 CC), who posted a 61-45 victory over No. 21 Messiah at home on Nov. 15, posted their eighth-straight win in the series and fourth in-a-row at home.

Neither team started off strong as Dickinson led 9-2 at the end of the first quarter after the two teams combined to go 5-of-20 from the floor.

The Red Devils led 27-11 at the half as they limited McDaniel to just 5-of-17 shooting while forcing 14 turnovers. They stretched their lead to as many as 25 late in the third as they outscored the visitors, 43-18 through three.

The Green Terror will be idle for the Thanksgiving holiday before returning to action next Tuesday, Nov. 28 when they host a Centennial Conference contest versus Johns Hopkins inside the Gill Center. Tip-off is at 6 p.m.
