LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Sophomore Jack Sears lead the McDaniel College men's cross country with a 38th place finish at the NCAA DIII Cross Country Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship held at Lock Haven on Saturday
The Green Terror finished 19th place finish with 572 points. Carnagie Mellon won the meet scoring 19 points. Matthew Porter from Carnagie Mellon won the race with a time of 24:40.
Sears placed 38th running a time of 25:51.6. He sets a new course record for the program and turns the fourth fastest 8k performance in program history. Sears also is the fourth highest finisher in program history at the regional meet. Senior Nick Raumann crossed the line in 99th with a time of 26:57.1. He moves up to 19th in program history, and third all-time on the course.
Senior Tyler Richardson ran a time of 27:54 to place 132nd. Junior Anders Madsen followed with a time of 28:04. Richardson and Madsen now are fourth and fifth all time on the course. Sophomore Jack Reiser rounded out the scorers running a time of 30:40.6 to finish 185th. He moves to seventh in program history on the course.
This marks the end of the Cross Country Season for the Green Terror as they move into Indoor Track
