Dolan Wins Mason Dixon, No. 19 McDaniel Finishes 12th

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - McDaniel College men's golf sophomore Charlie Dolan finished the last six holes 1-under par to capture the individual title of the Mason-Dixon Collegiate Classic on Sunday at Waynesboro Country Club.

Dolan finished the 36-hole event in a four-way tie for first with Roanoke's Palmer Cuny, Matt Saltzer of York (Pa.) and Stevenson's Sean Dowd with a 2-over par 142. Dolan was declared the winner on a match of scorecards. Slater and Dolan both shot a 35 on the back nine Sunday, but Dolan edged out Slater 23-24 over the final six holes to earn the win.

It marked a new 36-hole career-best for Dolan who earned his second career win after finishing first at the Fred Kravetz Invitational on April 15, 2023 with a 1-under par 143.

Dolan is the sixth Green Terror to earn the individual title in the 12-year history of the event. He joins Ryan McGarry (2022), Kevin Keane (2019), Shawn MacBurnie (2018), Brandon Vance (2016), and Greg Bowman (2011).

As a team, the Green Terror finished 12th with a 610, including a 301 in Sunday's final round. Just five strokes separated the top five teams as Dickinson won the team title with a 593, followed by York (594), Roanoke (595), Franklin & Marshall (597) and Gettysburg (598).
