WESTMINSTER, Md. - McDaniel College men's cross country sophomore
Jack Sears placed 32nd to lead the team at the Centennial Conference Cross Country Championships Saturday at McDaniel College Golf Club.
Hosting the event for the first time since 2013 and first time at the Golf Club since 2000, the Green Terror finished eighth out of nine teams with 226 points, edging out Gettysburg who totaled 250 points.
Johns Hopkins won its fourth championship and second-straight with 28 points. The Blue Jays' Emmanuel LeBlond earned the individual title with a time of 25:24.5.

Sears ran a time of 27:56.1 to post the best individual finish for a Green Terror since Jim Heilman placed 27th in 2016. Sears had the eighth-fastest time in program history on the course.
Senior
Nick Raumann finished 48th with a time of 28:43.8 while senior
Tyler Richardson was the first of three-straight McDaniel finishes as he came in 68th in 29:56. Freshman
Abhishek Mudireddy followed in 69th with a time of 30:01.2 and junior
Anders Madsen rounded out the scorers with a 70th-place finish with a time of 30:07.2.

Braden Fink finished came in 89th.

The Green Terror return to action at the ECAC Mid-Atlantic Championships hosted by Goucher College next Friday, Nov. 3.
