UPPERCO, Md. - Senior Evan Rutherford shot a seven-over par 78 to finish 17th to lead three individuals for the McDaniel College men's golf team in the Stevenson Fall Invitational Thursday at Piney Branch Golf Club.

The host Mustangs finished first with a 292, one stroke ahead of Catholic.

Other competitors for the 19th-ranked Green Terror included freshman Joey Sabol who carded an 82 to finish 29th and sophomore Sean Kelly who placed 32nd with an 83.

McDaniel has concluded the fall portion of its 2023-24 schedule. The team returns to action in March with the McDaniel Spring Invite at The Bridges Golf Club.
