McDaniel registered a two-day total of 956 to finish sixth at the Gettysburg Spring Invitational at Hanover Country Club.
THE LEADERS
• Zoey Nichols (Princess Anne, Md./Washington Academy) led the Green Terror with a 14th-place finish, posting a score of 190. She opened with a round of 98 before posting a score of 92 on Sunday.
FOR THE FOES
• York (Pa.) won the six-team tournament with a score of 628 (308-320), outdistancing Alvernia by 71 strokes.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• Vaishali Bhatt (Media, Pa./Garnet Valley) finished 28th with a score of 238 (117-121).
• Daniela Babich (Baltimore, Md./Dulaney) was 29th with a score of 262, posting a score of 129 on Saturday and 133 on Sunday.
• Olivia Vanreusel (Reisterstown, Md./Franklin) placed 30th but with a score of 266 (131-135).
• Zoey Smalls (Washington, D.C./McLean School) rounded out the competitors in 31st place with a score of 322 (163-159).
