THE SKINNY
McDaniel dropped three close matches in the final dual action of the season. The Green Terror fell to Muhlenberg 23-21, Merchant Marine 21-18 and Johns Hopkins, 27-22.

THE LEADERS
Alex LaVeck (Reisterstown, Md./McDonogh) led the Green Terror with three victories on the day – all by fall.
Joe McKneely (Gaithersburg, Md./Damascus) also went 3-0 on the afternoon.

FOR THE FOES
• Ramior Osuna led the Mules with a 7-3 win at heavyweight to pull out the two-point win the opener.
• Max Sims capped three straight wins for the Mariners with a 5-4 victory at 197 to rally for that victory.
• Hank Bahaeghel secured the Blue Jays' win with a first-period pin at heavyweight in the final match of the day.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• A Joey Lamparelli technical fall and Ricky Caamano 12-3 victory staked Muhlenberg to a 9-0 lead in the opening match. Joe McKneely (Gaithersburg, Md./Damascus) made it a 9-6 match with a 6-minute, 19-second pin at 141. A Brandon Bowles 16-1 win at 149 and Anson Dewar 9-3 victory at 157 pushed the lead out to 14-6 before a 51-second Alex LaVeck pin closed the margin to 17-12. Michael Bromley (Mt. Airy, Md./Linganore) added a first-period pin of his own at 174 for a one-point edge. Valentino Pryor (Odenton, Md./Arundel) made it 21-17 with a 3-2 win at 184 before Luca Colestock turned the tables at 197 for a 3-2 victory to set up the Ramiro Osuna match-clinching win.
Alex DuFour (Owings Mills, Md./Owings Mills) opened the Merchant Marine match with a forfeit win before Cameron Pleninger knotted the score at 6-all with a 2-minute, 29-second fall at 133. McKneely took the 141 win by a 16-14 margin before Austin Manning once again evened the score with a 12-9 victory. Tharon Burns gave the Mariners a 12-9 edge with a 9-4 victory at 157 before LaVeck notched his second 51-second pin of the day. Three straight decisions by Merchant Marine, including a Max Sims' win at 197 coming on a riding time point, made it a 21-15 score. Dominick Esposito won 9-5 at 174 and James Cruz won 7-3 at 184. Eric Ward Jr. (Salisbury, Md./J.M. Bennett) set the final margin with an 11-9 victory at heavyweight.
• After a second DuFour win by forfeit, Johns Hopkins' Brent Lorin used a 2-minute, 50-second pin to tie the match at 6-all. McKneely rounded out his 3-0 day with a 15-6 major decision. Justin Valdoria got a pin just before the first period expired for a 12-10 Blue Jay edge. Chris Roybol stretched the lead to 15-10 halfway through the match with a 4-3 victory. LaVeck gave the Green Terror a one-point edge with a 2-minute, 35-second pin. Joe Paul posted a 7-0 win at 174 before Grant Walnoha edged out a 5-2 victory at 184 for a 21-16 lead. A Jaedyn Harris (Gaithersburg, Md./Gaithersburg) 1-miunte, 53-second fall gave McDaniel a 22-21 edge but Hank Bahaeghael got a pin in the first period for the victory.
