Madyson Hill each netted their first goal of the season in a 2-1 victory over Washington College Wednesday.
The Green Terror (8-4-4, 5-2-2 CC), who were ranked at No. 4 in the NCAA Region V rankings on Wednesday, currently sit in a tie for third-place in the Centennial Conference standings with Dickinson, two points ahead of Franklin & Marshall with one game remaining.
McDaniel beat Dickinson 1-0 at home on Oct. 8. The third and fourth place teams will host a first round contest in the 2022 Centennial Conference Women's Soccer Championship next Tuesday, Nov. 1.
Hill netted the first goal of her career on the game's third shot when she scored off an assist from senior
Taylor Clawson in the 14th minute.
McDaniel recorded the first six shots and two corner kicks before the Shorewomen (6-4-6, 2-3-4 CC) recorded their first attempt in the 39th minute.
The Green Terror doubled up Washington College in shots in the first 45 minutes, outshooting the visitors, 6-3. The Shorewomen put just one attempt on goal which was turned away by graduate student
Katherine Carstensen.
McDaniel struck again early in the second half as Titus scored her first of the year off the team's fourth corner kick. Junior
Allison Storm picked up her team-leading fifth assist on the play after she crossed the ball into the box where Titus headed past the keeper for her fifth career marker.
Washington College got on the board three minutes later, avoiding its second-straight shutout against the Green Terror when Katie King scored off an assist from Audrey Flanagan in the 53rd minute.
The Shorewomen had two more shots in the contest, but could not get the equalizer as both were stopped by Carstensen who finished with three saves.
McDaniel held an 11-7 edge in shots and a 9-3 advantage in corner kicks.
The Green Terror conclude the regular season on Saturday at Ursinus. Kickoff is at noon.
Meanwhile, Dickinson travels to Washington College while Franklin & Marshall head to No. 3 Johns Hopkins.
