• Alex DuFour staked McDaniel to a quick 6-0 lead with a pin in 1:05 at 125. Cole Jones (Bel Air, Md./John Carroll) doubled the lead with a forfeit win at 133. Damion Finnegan got Waynesburg on the board for the first time with a 10-6 victory at 141. Ty Jefferson (Bowie, Md./St. Mary's Ryken) followed with a 16-0 technical fall midway through the second period of 149 to extend the Green Terror lead to 17-3.
• After Seth Evans earned a 4-3 win at 157, Alex LaVeck (Reisterstown, Md./McDonogh) recorded the fastest known pin in program history, needing just eight seconds at 165. Michael Bromley (Mt. Airy, Md./Linganore) stretched the lead to 29-6 with a 1-minute, 15-second pin at 174 before a Valentino Pryor (Odenton, Md./Arundel) forfeit win at 184.
• Jaedyn Harris (Gaithersburg, Md./Gaithersburg) added a 2-minute, 31-second pin at 197 before Rocky McGeary wrapped up the day with a 2-minute, 38-second pin for Waynesburg.
