THE SKINNY STORY
Washington (Md.) scored a pair of goals in the second half to pull away and defeat McDaniel, 3-0.

THE LEADERS
Mikayla Smith (Frederica, Del./Lake Forest) made nine saves to lead the Green Terror.
• Amy Richenderfer (Baldwin, Md./Fallston) had her team-leading third defensive save of the season.

FOR THE FOES
• Kat Esposito scored twice to lead the Shorewomen.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• In the final minute of the first quarter, Kat Esposito dribble to the right side of the circle and blasted home a shot from the top for a 1-0 lead.
• Kate Gromacki redirected a penalty corner in the final minute of the third quarter to Esposito, who fired it home for a 2-0 advantage.
• In the 52nd minute, Madison Parker deflected a long Julianna Sterling hit in from the left side for the final argin.

THE INSIDE STORY
• Washington finished with advantages of 18-2 in shots and 13-3 in penalty corners.
