Haverford built a 3-0 halftime lead en route to a 4-1 victory over McDaniel in the Centennial Conference (CC) opener for both teams.

• Tori McArthur (Columbia, Md./Howard) led the Green Terror with a goal in the final minute.

• Ravenel Davis led the Fords with two goals and an asssit.
THE REST OF THE STORY
• In the ninth minute, Daila Bercow finished a Carolina Channell pass on a penalty corner for a 1-0 Haverford lead.
• Olivia Ahert then found Ravenel Davis on another penalty corner in the 20th minute.
• Davis then poked the ball away and found Anna Kirn, who finished for a 3-0 lead just 5:10 before the intermission.
• Kirn then returned the favor and found Davis four-and-a-half minutes into the fourth quarter.
• Tori McArthur converted a final-minute penalty corner to break up the shutout with 35 ticks remaining.
THE INSIDE STORY
• Tori McArthur registered her first collegiate goal for the Green Terror.
• Haverford finished with a 24-5 advantage in shots and 12-9 edge in penalty corners.
• Mikayla Smith (Frederica, Del./Lake Forest) made a career-high 13 saves in net.
